Exciting Milonga

We are very happy to announce our plans for a wonderful May milonga.
Special guests Luis Bianchi and Daniela Pucci will be teaching two workshops of 1-½ hours each (one tango and the second milonga). There will also be a performance during the evening. Luis and Daniella are returning by popular request. See their videos below:
To gild the lily, Ilene Marder (La Rubia del Norte) will DJ that evening.
Two wonderful workshops: one for Tango and one for Milonga
Tango:

Leaders and followers will learn the importance of balance and timing in order to properly execute a figure and enable them to create their very own figures.

Leaders will learn the importance of waiting for the follower to respond to the lead.

Figures will be taught to encourage practicing these skills.
Milonga:

Learn the difference between Milonga Lisa and Milonga Traspié.

Learn basic and new steps and figures used for Lisa and for Traspié and when to use them.

Most importantly learn to mix the two styles and create your own milonga figures.
3:45 - 5:15 pm - The tango workshop will begin at 3:45 with a one-and-a- half hour workshop (Int/Adv) led by Luis and Daniela.
5:30 - 7:00 pm - The milonga workshop will also be Intermediate/Advanced level.
7:00 - 8:00 pm - Dinner Break - we will provide you with a list of restaurants in the area.
8:00 - 12 pm - At 8:00 the dancing will begin with the wonderful music of Ilene Marder as DJ.
9:30 pm - At 9:30 we will enjoy a performance given by our instructors.
There will be refreshments and special snacks as well as a number of raffle prizes.
The charge for each workshop is $25.
The charge for the milonga alone will be the usual $15
